I would have done the floor at the end of the project - otherwise you end up damaging the floor as you drag building materials across the newly refurbished floor

What a lovely wood choice. My dad laid parquetry through most of our house when i was in my last year of highschool, over the top of timber floors, and mum and i hated it. Looking to change it out now somehow.

I love the floors! I have a house that is full of white oak, floors, doors, trim. It's beautiful but it's now orange from age. We also have inlayed carpet in the formal dining & living room which we want to remove & do hard wood through out. You are giving me ideas & making it seem less scary! Thanks for sharing your talent with us!

I have the opposite problem with cats. We refinished all the hardwood floors in our house before we moved in and the crazy cats run all over the place and scratch it up 😖 It's frustrating.

Beautiful ! Will the hard wood get scratched with cat (or dog) nails? And are they easy to clean? I would love to have but have been told how they can scratch easily from pets and high heels and moving furniture etc. thanks

My husband & I are in the process of changing our flooring from tile to wood floors lots of mess & dust for days but hoping the transformation is going to modernise our house of 24 yrs she needed a little Botox lol love seeing how your house will transform xx
